I really need to stop doing memes and do some more writing...

Favourite story:

I can't decide... ah - probably that later chapters of You Know Who? My Voldemort/Hermione story which reads like an opium dream in some places. Really loopy stuff. Like Voldemort recalling eating a bird's egg while possessing a snake. It's weird and made me like ophidian!Voldemort which writers often avoid, choosing to clean up his looks before anyone falls for him.

Best story:

For sheer sticking power I'd have to say Room with a View. It's badly written, with horrible characterization along with everything else but it's longer than anything else I've ever written and I still re-read it even though re-reading my own work makes me feel somewhat incestuous.

Most Underappreciated Story:

I'll give this one to - uh - probably Against Nature where (cannon-ish) Vader and the Emperor attend Senator Amidala's funeral. No sex involved! *gasp*

Most Fun Story:

Haha! Oh that'd have to be Quizzical which is a crazy story about Palpatine taking an internet quiz. Somewhat retarded (format challenged) fun, if you feel like a quick cackle.

Sexiest Story:

I'd say that would be my fem!slash fem!Beckett/fem!Jack and other assorted pieces of PWP somewhere over in [profile] cutler_beckett

Holy Crap, that's wrong, even for you:

Ahahaha! The oscar goes to Under the Covers - my Emperor Palpatine/male!OC cut-sex-scene from Alexis, requested by [livejournal.com profile] luminations . A story only for the very brave or diehard Palpatine obsessives.

Story that shifted my perceptions of a character:

Gosh, that's a hard one. Probably Paterfamilias - my pre-DH Abraxas Malfoy/Tom Riddle fanfiction. Developing Abraxas from a name into a chracter was really interesting. That story was also the first time I've ever written Draco Malfoy and it made me appreciate the Malfoy family more in general. All of my palpakin fanfictions have lead me to understand Anakin that little bit more too, though it has been a slow process.

Hardest Story to Do:

There is no doubt in my mind here - Child of Sah'ot - which is about a Palpatine clone in the post!Palpatine EU. I've had it in my head for years and I've rewritten the beginning about six times and am currently working on chapter three with all the velocity of a snail. Because it's my most precious story at the moment and the characterisation has to be utterly perfect - walking the line between nature in nurture. In some ways, the finished product can never equal the great saga that is his life in my head.

Biggest Disappointment:

Ouch - er - that would be Devarication. About Palpatine loosing his looks, etc... nothing about it feels right to me.

Most Revealing Story:

As in about me? All of them.

Story I Want Remembered:

Most definately Child of Sah'ot - see above - if I ever finish it. Although I have this horrible feeling that my legacy will always be Room with a View. lol.

Fic I Still Love Most:

I love them all and I hate them all. I can't say fairer than that.

Taken from [personal profile] fialleril. I'd be interested to see what I come up with!

List 15 of your favorite characters from different fandoms, and ask people to spot patterns in your choices, and if they're so inclined, to draw conclusions about you based on the patterns they've spotted.

Well, people, do I have a "pattern"?

1. Palpatine [Star Wars] Hehe - you knew it was coming!
2. Lord Vetinari [Discworld]
3. Lord Beckett [Pirates of the Caribbean]
4. Chrestomanci aka Christopher Chant [Worlds of Chrestomanci]
5. Edmond Dantes [The Count of Monte Christo]
6. Severus Snape [Harry Potter]
7. Marcus Novius [Romanitas]
8. Tarod of Chaos [Time Master]
9.  Mr. Spock [Star Trek TOS]
10. Ban [Boudica] A character with better dark angst than Vader, who knew? I'm not joking. This guy is like Vader+Vorenus from HBO's Rome. Srsly! Actually, those two would work well together... and they both begin with 'V'... hmm...
11. Tiberius Claudius Drusus Nero Germanicus Caesar  [I, Claudius]
12. Lucius Malfoy [Harry Potter]
13. Grima Wormtogue [Lord of the Rings]
14. Julius Caesar [he SO counts as Asterix fandom!] NOTE: this is what I said when I was 6 at the "come as your favourite book character day". As you can see, nothing has changed since then.
15. Claude Frollo [Hunchback of Notre-Dame]
