1. Palpatine [Star Wars] Hehe - you knew it was coming!
2. Lord Vetinari [Discworld]
3. Lord Beckett [Pirates of the Caribbean]
4. Chrestomanci aka Christopher Chant [Worlds of Chrestomanci]
5. Edmond Dantes [The Count of Monte Christo]
6. Severus Snape [Harry Potter]
7. Marcus Novius [Romanitas]
8. Tarod of Chaos [Time Master]
9. Mr. Spock [Star Trek TOS]
10. Ban [Boudica] A character with better dark angst than Vader, who knew? I'm not joking. This guy is like Vader+Vorenus from HBO's Rome. Srsly! Actually, those two would work well together... and they both begin with 'V'... hmm...
11. Tiberius Claudius Drusus Nero Germanicus Caesar [I, Claudius]
12. Lucius Malfoy [Harry Potter]
13. Grima Wormtogue [Lord of the Rings]
14. Julius Caesar [he SO counts as Asterix fandom!] NOTE: this is what I said when I was 6 at the "come as your favourite book character day". As you can see, nothing has changed since then.
