Summary: A tale about a young man called Alexis and how he gets caught up in things beyond his control. Completely new chapter, this one.
Characters: Palpatine and pretty much everyone you’d expect to see at the Imperial Court circa A New Hope, plus some OCs (and even some rebel scum this chapter!).
Genre(s): Romance, tragedy, drama (with some humour because I can never resist, lol).
Pairing(s): Palpatine/male!OC and Moteé/Pestage.
Author's Note: Well, this has been in the works for a very long time. I hope it’s worth it. And just so you know – it is meant to be creepy. Not much really happens in this chapter, but I had a lot of characters and situations I needed to set up. The ending is good, if you can make it that far without being squicked.

I posted this to starwarsland  as part of a vidding competition on October 12th, 2009. It still hasn't been voted on so I'm posting it here because I'm sick of waiting. The challenge was to pick a character (no, I didn't pick Palpatine!) and made a vid around their characteristics/personality. I did Amidala.
