otium/negotium

Greetings gentlebeings,

I am in the middle of a major breakthrough in my dissertation which requires me to rewrite swathes of work if i want to meet my deadlines. This breakthrough can be summed up in one sentence: Cicero was being ironic. 

Sounds obvious? Not to generations of scholarship since the Renaissance or to me for about 8 months of study. Anyway, what this basically means is that for pretty much the rest of this month I will be unavailable and if I am doing random stuff on lj please shout at me and tell me to go back to the grindstone until 30th of October. Also, I apologise to my companions at Team Empire over at starwarsland- sorry ppl.
