Author’s Note: Somebody once asked for a story where Beckett is the virgin seduced by Norrington rather than the other way round. I’m not sure how it got this long over a mere day and a half or how Mercer weaved himself so thoroughly into the plot, but there you go.

My rabbit Horace, who lived free in the house and garden, who slept on my rug at night and figured out how to use a cat door faster than our cat, died in the early hours of the morning. So this dedicated to my beloved bunny.
