My first Meckett.... *cringes*

Author’s Notes: Er… someone asked for Meckett and I happen to have time on my hands? Beckett isn’t a lord yet and they’re both somewhat younger than they are in DMC. Hmm… with regard to the whole Mr. Mercer being a clerk thing… well… in this he sort of gradually transforms into a clerk, from something else, rather than the other way round. I look at this and compare it to That Which Vexes All Men and find that my Beckett is rather put-upon. People jump him while he’s lying down… unsporting, that. PS - excuse the font.
