What do most young men think when someone says they're sooo powerful? Featuring oblivious!Palpatine. I can't really dignify this by calling it fanfic...

ANAKIN: Huh?
PALPATINE: You eclipse them utterly.
ANAKIN: Er - thanks.
PALPATINE: You're the most gifted Jedi I've ever met!
ANAKIN: You don't get out much, do you?
PALPATINE: Your power is such that I feel sure you are destined for greatness. You will be even more powerful than Master Yoda. In fact I foresee that-
ANAKIN: -Chancellor?
PALPATINE: Mm?
ANAKIN: Yes.
PALPATINE: Er... yes what?
ANAKIN: It's okay. I know what you're trying to say, and the answer is yes.
PALPATINE: Ahem... I don't quite...?
ANAKIN: Come here, you stupid man! *glomp* *snuggle* *kisses*

I knoooow! I mean, what're you supposed to think when someone starts playing you ridiculous compliments? The idea that they're trying to corrupt you by inflating your ego to a ludicrous size... or they want into your robes? lol.

And now I retire, once again listening to Ian's lovely voice... I've heard the beginning of this thing several times now but I fall asleep too quickly to hear it all!

Hahaha! I couldn't possibly fall asleep listening to that! I stayed up stupidly late the other night to listen to the whole thing.... and soon we'll have another episode! YAYZ!
