Exactly! Definitely I think if Anakin/Padme had just been allowed to run its course, they would have found each other just too different. I hate all those Padme/Vader stories where she loses her political ideals - I think her idealism and morality are the most important part of Padme's character and Anakin's idealism is of a completely different ilk.
